Activitats

English

Children are introduced to the English language through play, which is the engine of their development and learning. It is important to start at an early age, as it has positive effects on intelligence and other aspects of life.

We think that children have great potential for learning the language and for this reason we work on English from a very young age, we dedicate an hour a day through flashcards, games, music and various activities depending on age.

Music

Through music, the child, without realizing it, gradually learns to recognize the world around him with a festive and playful tone that the songs provide. Music is part of the day at home, not only singing and listening to songs, but also through; auditions, lap games, musical instruments, etc.

Psychomotricity

In the kindergarten we carry out an experienced and psychodynamic psychomotricity that is structured mainly based on Bernard Aucouturier's Psychomotor Practice.

Our main objective is to accompany and help in the overall maturation of children, based on the experience of the body, and within a framework of both physical and emotional security.

We start from the child's spontaneous movement and action, from playing with specific materials and with the presence of an adult at all times.

Experiments

Throughout the course we carry out many experimentation sessions with various materials that attract the interest of children: flour, sand, paints, flowers, etc. Children begin to observe and manipulate the phenomena that surround them, observe the behavior of materials, discover the possibilities of their senses, the results of their actions on the material, experience sensations and learn to distinguish the qualities of the different elements: soft, cold, shiny, sweet, salty, slimy, dry, wet, hot, etc.

It is a time to relax, enjoy and at the same time work on emotions that shake you in your daily life, as it contributes to a better understanding of yourself and others. As well as values such as respect and empathy.

Corners

The corners allow us to organize the classroom into small groups, each of which carries out a specific and different task. They learn to work as a team and enhance their initiative and sense of responsibility.

Unlike free play that enhances individuality, the most natural expression of children, we value it as a good way to grow, acquire knowledge and understand the world around them.

The kindergarten's urban garden is very active and the children go out to take care of it and become aware of how it is growing. Our goal is to bring children closer to the reality that surrounds them, discover nature and respect the environment.

Swimming

It enhances the child's psychomotor development thanks to the fact that water increases their possibilities of movement, which are very limited at such an early age. The cardiorespiratory system is strengthened due to the physical work it entails.

It helps the baby feel more secure and relax. Swimming is a voluntary sporting activity. It is carried out during the nursery hours from the year .
